Extra profylaxe ter voorkoming van S. aureus infecties

Algemene opmerkingen

Voor specifieke patiëntgroepen geldt naast de reguliere profylaxe een extra profylaxe ter voorkoming van S. aureus infecties

- Na aantonen van neusdragerschap van S. aureus, start preoperatieve behandeling met mupirocine neuszalf 2 dd en chloorhexidine bodywash 1 dd, beiden 5 dagen conform protocol.

- De behandeling geeft 3 weken bescherming.
