General comments
- Milde infectie: infectie van alléén de huid of subcutaan weefsel (zonder aantasting diep weefsel)
- Neem weefselbiopt af (bij voorkeur een percutaan botbiopt) om antibiotica te kunnen stroomlijnen. Een wondswab is niet voldoende om antibiotische keuze op te baseren.
- Bij matig/ernstige infectie: evalueer of chirurgische interventie nodig is voor verwijderen necrose en geïnfecteerd bot, abces drainage. Duur behandeling hier mede van afhankelijk.
