General comments
Alvorens start antibiotica diagnostische punctie voor kweek.
Indien mogelijk percutane drainage combineren met antibiotica.
Antibiotica aanpassen op geleide van kweken iom consulent infectieziekten. Cave amoebenabces (zie https://erasmusmc.adult.nl.antibiotica.app/nl/node/147142).
Duur minimaal zes weken, controle beeldvorming voor staken antibiotica.
Zo mogelijk na 2 weken switch naar orale therapie, mede afhankelijk van de kweek; bijv. clindamycine po 600 mg 3 dd + ciprofloxacine po 500 mg 2 dd.
