Pseudomonas aeruginosa LVAD infecties lastig te behandelen vanwege biofilm, daarom intensief behandelen in vroeg stadium.

Gezien nog geen vergoeding in de thuissituatie voor ceftazidime-avibactam, bij naar huis gaan naar ceftazidime 3 dd 2 gram IV of 6 gram IV continu (naast ciproxin)
