Bij gecompliceerde infecties (die niet beperkt blijven tot enterale symptomen) behandeling met ceftriaxon iv of (bij gebleken gevoeligheid) ciprofloxacine po ged. minimaal 2 weken.
Als oraal alternatief komt cotrimoxazol 2 dd 960 mg in aanmerking.
