General comments
Stop zo mogelijk verantwoordelijk antibioticum, en isoleer patiënt.
Dosering vancomycine capsules 125 mg suspensie heeft de voorkeur maar is in Nederland niet als capsule beschikbaar.
Bij ≥2de recidief: in principe indicatie voor Faecale Microbiota Transplantatie, zie voor details SWAB richtlijn acute diarree
Secundaire profylaxe is een mogelijkheid bij patiënten die recidiverende CDI ontwikkelen n.a.v. een bekende uitlokkende factor. Overleg voor deze indicatie met de consulent infectieziekten.
