Medication:

benzylpenicilline iv 2million. IU 6dd

+

clindamycine iv 600mg 3dd
Remarks:

Overweeg de toevoeging van immuunglobulines (IVIG), totaal 3 dagen

Dag 1: 1 g/kg; dag 2 en 3: 0,5 g/kg

General comments

Bij verdenking infectie met groep A streptokken, met name kort na de bevalling EN snelle klinische verslechtering, overweeg toevoegen clindamycine en IVIG aan het empirisch antibiotisch regime

Voor groep A-streptokokkeninfecties geldt een meldingsplicht groep B2 voor:

  • alle vormen van invasieve infecties waarbij GAS wordt aangetoond middels kweek of aantonen van genetisch materiaal uit een normaal gesproken steriele ruimte
  • puerperale koorts of sepsis
