= gelijk aan PJP profylaxe

General comments

  • Incidentie van reactivatie van latente toxoplasmose is gering (<1% LeTx, ca. 0,6% NTx en nog lager bij LoTx).
  • Hoogste risico bij Toxoplasma sero-negatieve ontvanger en sero-postieve donor (R-/D+; meer dan 80% van gerapporteerde toxoplasmose na Tx komt voor in deze groep)
  • Alle lever-, long- en niertransplantatie patienten krijgen PJP profylaxe (cotrimoxazol p.o. 1dd 480mg voor 3-6 maanden) welke ook bescherming biedt tegen reactivatie van toxoplasmose. Mocht cotrimoxazol profylaxe niet mogelijk zijn (i.v.m. toxiciteit / allergie), dan is gezien de geringe incidentie geen alternatieve Toxoplasma profylaxe aangewezen.
