Remarks: Community-acquired en nosocomiale sepsis en neutropenie

General comments

  • Overweeg de toevoeging van glycopeptiden wanneer er sprake is van sepsis en mucositis onder penicilline profylaxe.
  • Breed spectrum antibiotica moeten gestopt worden na 72 uur bij klinisch stabiele patiënten met persisterende febriele neutropenie, indien er geen klinisch of microbiologisch bewijs is voor infectie. Bij deze patiënten moet orale profylaxe gericht op Gram-negatieve micro-organismen gecontinueerd worden zolang de neutropenie duurt.
