valaciclovir po 1000mg 3dd minimum 7 days

or

aciclovir iv 10mg/kg 3dd minimum 7 days

Remarks:

Behandeling in ieder geval bij immuungecompromitteerde status, ernstige en/of gedissemineerde infecties en bij betrokkenheid van de nervus opthalmicus.

General comments

Nervus ophthalmicus: Consult oogheelkunde wordt aanbevolen om (uitgebreidheid van) oogbetrokkenheid te beoordelen. Start bij voorkeur iv. Aciclovir oogzalf 3% 5dd topicaal bij oogbetrokkenheid.
