Tobramycine tot antibiogram bekend is. Na 2 weken intraveneuze therapie, switch naar ciprofloxacine per os 750 mg 2 dd bij bewezen gevoeligheid. |

General comments
Bij volwassenen is een osteomyelitis doorgaans chronisch.
Indien sprake is van osteomyelitis acuta is de totale behandelduur 4-6 weken.

Tobramycine dalspiegel afnemen vóór de tweede gift.
Bij nierfunctiestoornissen, overleg met de consulent infectieziekten over een alternatief voor tobramycine iv.
