General comments

Praziquantel

  • Innemen tijdens of kort na een maaltijd.
  • Onvoldoende gegevens bekend over veiligheid bij zwangerschap, borstvoeding is waarschijnlijk wel veilig (zie ook LAREB)

Tribendimidine (eenmalig 400mg p.o.) is middel van 2e keuze. Effectiviteit is gelijk aan praziquantel maar beschikbaarheid is mogelijk problematisch.
